![]() ![]() A sound of scraping stone originating in the container is heard constantly, and any change to the sound is reported immediately. ![]() SCP-173 can move very rapidly, but only when not being looked at, reminiscent of the Weeping Angels from the TV show Doctor Who (the Weeping Angels were created after SCP-173). For example, if a person were to stand in front of SCP-173 and stare at it, it would not be able to hurt them unless the person blinks or looks away. However, it cannot move if it is being looked at by another creature. SCP-173 is able to move around on its own, and will try to kill anyone near it by breaking their neck or strangling them. SCP-173, called The Sculpture, is a vaguely human-shaped statue made of concrete and steel, with a pattern of spray paint on its head resembling a bloody face with green eyes. This makes sure that it is being watched by at least two people at all times. To make sure SCP-173 doesn't escape when personnel are entering its container, at least three people must enter at any time, and they must alert one another when they are about to blink or look away from SCP-173. Personnel are sent in bi-weekly to clean the container and to make sure SCP-173 is behaving as predicted. SCP-173 is contained fairly easily it is kept in a locked container at all times. ![]() Euclid - This means that SCP-173 is dangerous but not overly difficult to contain. ![]()
